This picture depicts a mass grave at one of the nazi's death camps, probably aushwitz. Most people would think that this is a horrible atrocity and that must be an entire camp int he grave but in reality this picture pales in comparison to the vast amount of people that died at the hands of the third reich. This picture is memorable because most people only see a few dead people in their life and most of those are at funerals but these prisoners saw this kind of death and pain on a daily basis. So much so that it became routine for them
